4/30/11 Update from Mission Trip in Haiti!
This morning we are at church for a wedding for 11 couples. Then there will be a river baptism. They look so beautiful and holy! Early evening we went to Gelee Beach to watch the beautiful sunset.

This trip has been amazing! Today we made necklaces from felt donated by a member of the medical team and taught the children how to brush their teeth properly. We also did yoga at the school in Chantal, made cards and read books! After that we went to the HELO orphanage, http://www.helohaiti.org , to help…
We are in Chantal today and enjoyed a full day with our children. Life is good – we sang, danced, drew, made hats and decorated them, did yoga, read in French and Creole and held children who need to be held and loved.
Hello from Les Cayes! We are traveling with a full bus first to drop off some folks at the medical clinic. Currently at La Croix, Haiti and then off to Chantal for a day to spend with RFA!

The well in Chantal is completely finished and is now serving the children in our program and the local community. This has been a log time goal of Bethesda Evangelical Mission and Restavec Freedom Alliance. The children and community now have access to fresh water which is extremely essential, especially in their lifestyle.
