The Paint Bar Fundraiser, held on June 23rd, 2012, in Newton, Massachusetts was a fun and successful event! The event was organized by Restavec Freedom Alliance volunteer Nancy Evans who has traveled twice to Haiti. It was a great opportunity for Ellen Graber Donohue to share the story of RFA with others who attended the event. The evening was filled with fun and everyone created an amazing pieces of artwork. RFA volunteers Lucy Moran and Elaine Davis were among the 50 participants. Jill Schon, owner of The Paint Bar, and her daughter, Jackie, presented Restavec Freedom Alliance a check for $500 at the conclusion of the evening. Also, a special thanks to Bacson, Inc. a local printing company for providing a special product discount for our poster.
