The Jack Jackter Intermediate School Production Company, Clay Aid, recently enjoyed a special guest speaker, Ellen Graber Donahue, Executive Director of the Restavec Freedom Alliance , a new ministry of BEM in Haiti . Production companies are enrichment programs offered to students in grades three-five . Clay Aid is a group , led and developed by JJIS teacher Kathy Brandon, is where students design a personal line of pendants made of clay . The students are also responsible for marketing their product, including price and presentation. RFA’s mission is to offer a safe, stable, family-centered environment for these restavec children. Members of Clay Aid include Brian Dec, Abby Glover, Olivia Gunning, Nicole Lizotte, Evan Merchant, Leah Migliaccio, Evan Olesnevich, Natalia Perez, Scott Quine, Taylor Rochette, Chris Santoro and Nick Tartsinis. So far they have raised $1,300.00!!
